Carla Muters is de Voorzitter van de Raad van Bestuur van de Nationale Hypotheek Garantie (NHG). Ze is sinds 2017 werkzaam bij de NHG.
Daarvoor had ze een lange carrière achter de rug in de financiële sector bij onder andere Vivat, SNS Reaal, De Goudse en ze begon haar loopbaan als trainee bij ING in 1997.
Naast haar werk vervult Carla meerdere nevenfuncties, onder andere als lid van de Raad van Toezicht van de Stichting toetsing verzekeraars, lid Raad van Commissarissen van coöperatie Dimpact, is voorzitter van het bestuur van Stichting Perspectiefverklaring, lid van Topvrouwen.nl, is ze aanjager van NL2025, ze is gastdocent bij de Stichting Leven en Financiën en is ze actief als mentor en coach voor ondernemers.
Carla studeerde Bedrijfseconomie aan de Universiteit van Maastricht.
Ze is 48 jaar oud, getrouwd, heeft 2 kinderen en woont in het prachtige dorp Driebergen.

During the Leaders in Finance AML Europe Event (22 September 2022) we recorded an extra episode with Oliver Bullough - world famous journalist (a.o. The Guardian) as well as author of many books, among them Moneyland and Butler to the World. Welcome to an extra episode of Leaders in Finance, a special one as we recorded a live panel with over 150 people in the audience. We were at the EYe on Banking and Insurance conference on the 24th of November 2022 in Fort Voordorp, organized by EY. In the panel I spoke with 5 amazing guests about maximizing long-term value for all stakeholders, that includes employees, communities, customers and investors. We had a wide ranging conversation, where we spoke among many other things about ESG, why the E gets more attention than the S, sustainable finance, the role of banks, capital markets, insurers and investors and what drives them on a personal level regarding this topic. So let me introduce the guests.
Anneka Treon, Chief Economist at Van Lanschot Kempen, she has been with van Lanschot for about 13 years in various management positions and is regularly featured as a capital markets commentator at among others Bloomberg and CNBC television.

Jens Pöhland is the Chief Risk and Financial Officer and executive board member at Mizuho Bank Europe N.V.
He has been with Mizuho for about 12 years of which 10 in his current role. Before he worked with various organizations as Legal council for among others NYSE Euronext and The Bond Market Association and as a General Affairs and International Trade Lawyer for Corus and started his career at the Dutch Central Bank.
Next to his job he is the co-chair and board member of the Foreign Bankers’ Association in the Netherlands.
Jens holds a Bachelor degree from the University of Essex in English and European Law and a LLM from the Radboud University Nijmegen. Also he has been for 2 years with the Norwegian Army.
Jens is 50 years old, lives with his partner and daughter in Bloemendaal.

Erwin Dreuning is de CEO van Stater en is dat sinds 2011.
Voor Stater had hij reeds een lange carrière in de financiële sector met dienstbetrekkingen van ruim 10 jaar bij ABN AMRO, 2 jaar bij MeesPierson en meer dan 10 jaar bij OHV Vermogensbeheer.
Erwin deed tijdens zijn werkzame leven een MBA aan de Business School Nederland. Hij is 55 jaar oud, getrouwd en woont in Ermelo.
Tot slot een paar feiten over Stater:
- Stater beheert circa 40% van alle hypotheken in Nederland
- In totaal wordt daarmee voor meer dan 300 miljard aan hypotheken beheerd
- Er werken ca 1.400 mensen
- Het bedrijf genereert jaarlijks meer dan 170 miljoen euro omzet

Guido Roth en Laurens Hillen - de advocaten van Finnius die bunq bijstonden in deze rechtszaak - nemen ons mee in deze impactvolle zaak.
